Our PersonnelThe three principle members are Managing Director Rod Leonard MLIA (DIP), FLIA, FinstD, MSI; Investment Director Alan Ackers MSI and Chairman Dursley Stott OBE JP MA FSI all of whom are well-known on the Island in their own right. In addition, the Company through its Isle of Man and UK operations employ another eighteen experienced members of staff. Rod Leonard has been an Independent Financial Adviser for over 30 years owning Cheshire Trafford UK Ltd for most of that time and through which won the International Money Marketing International Insurance IFA of the Year award. Alan Ackers has been involved in the islands financial community for the past 30 years having been responsible for investment management and a director of Royal Bank of Canada, Standard Bank Stockbrokers CIBC Oppenheimer and Insinger de Beaufort. Alan joined the board of IIM in April 2005. Dursley Stott has been an integral member of the Island’s finance sector for over forty years and has recently brought his wealth of experience to IIM having been a past chairman of R L Stott & Co, stockbrokers, a member of the London Stock Exchange and a fellow of the Securities Institute as well as a former chairman of Royal Sun Alliance Insurance Company Limited and Barclays Unicorn (Isle of Man) Limited.
